Chamamé and a riverside promenade
A colonial city on the Paraná with one of the country's loveliest riverfronts and sandy beaches. It's the capital of chamamé music, whose national festival fills the city every January, and of the Corrientes carnival.

Getting there
Doctor Fernando Piragine Niveyro Airport, about 10 km away. The General Belgrano bridge links it to Resistencia, 20 km away.
