Moconá Falls
A waterfall that runs along the river
On the Uruguay River, facing Brazil, the water falls lengthwise rather than across: a fault about 3 km long creates drops of up to 10 meters. They lie inside the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve, deep in the Misiones rainforest.
What not to miss
- Seeing the falls from a boat
- The trails of Moconá Provincial Park
- The rainforest road from El Soberbio
Getting there
From El Soberbio along paved Provincial Route 2 to Moconá Provincial Park. El Soberbio is about 250 km from Posadas.
