South of the capital, the mild valleys of El Carmen and Perico mix tobacco fields, quiet towns and reservoirs ringed by hills. This is Jujuy's water country: fishing, kayaking and easy day trips.

Getting there
About 25 km south of San Salvador de Jujuy on Route 9 or 66. Jujuy's airport is in Perico, right in the valleys.
