The mountain cableway
A town of Torrontés vineyards at the foot of the Famatina range. In the early 20th century a cableway was built from here up to La Mejicana mine, above 4,000 meters, a one-of-a-kind engineering feat for its time.

Getting there
About 190 km from the city of La Rioja. From Villa Unión, the road crosses the Cuesta de Miranda.
