Jujuy Cloud Forest
The mountain rainforest
In eastern Jujuy, the forest climbs the slopes into the clouds. Calilegua National Park protects this humid woodland and its hundreds of bird species, and from there a gravel road winds up to the village of Valle Grande.

- Early-morning birdwatching
- The Route 83 drive up to Valle Grande
Getting there
Take Route 34 to Libertador General San Martín, about 110 km from San Salvador de Jujuy. The park entrance is a few kilometers away.
